Busy Skies Over Lincoln, cont…

June 13, 2008
Flypast mystery solved:  Tomorrow will be the Queen’s official birthday with Trooping the Colour in London, and to mark the celebration there will be a spectacular flypast.  Nine seperate formations of over 55 aircraft, from vintage to hi-tech, will give Her Maj and spectators a stiff neck for the rest of the day.
From Lincolnshire airfields will come the BBMF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to the uninitiated) consisting of a Lancaster bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane; two King Air 200 multi-engined(?) trainers; and nine Eurofighter Typhoons…wot? no Red Arrers?
I look forward to seeing it…on TV.
