Do You Believe In Angels…?

October 29, 2008
What a beautiful day it has been, so far…and the sun has just come out again, after a brief spell behind some hazy cloud…Open-mouthed

Yesterday, I met up with Mum, for lunch, as we usually do on a Tuesday, and was very surprised at how busy it was in town…then realised that it’s half-term…of course it’s busy…!  We took a wander up to The Works, a little cut-price book store that also sells gifts and art supplies, and spent a while browsing, when I found  couple of books, both £1.99 each…so I got them.  Then it was time for our afternoon cuppa at Cafe Zest, in House of Fraser.  Mum wanted to see what I’d bought, and was a bit surprised at my purchases…Ask Your Guides by Sonia Choquette, which I feel is the book that I’ve been searching for, and can’t put down.  It’s all about how to contact your spirit guides and Angels, and is absolutely fascinating.

I have always believed in my guardian Angel, as I’ve seen him, and experienced his protection just recently, after I left work one evening.  I also listen and take notice when a guide tells me something, and I’m certain that if I had bought a lottry ticket, as I was told to, after finding a pound, I might have won a bit more than the fiver I won from a scratch card.  Oh, well, we live and learn…!!

The other book is about spititual healing, which Mum actually started reading…so I’ve lent it to her…well, I can only read one book at a time (even though I have a few with bookmarks still marking my place…wonder if I’ll get around to finishing them…?)

Today, I have been to see the specialist at King’s Mill Hospital…which is being updated, re-newed and re-built, and is looking fantastic.  The clinics I go to are in the new building and are bright, light and comfortable…it’s all plate glass and open plan, so the sunshine streams into ever corner, almost.  Anyway, I told him how I’d felt for the three or so weeks prior to receiving the letter telling me to stop taking the Thyroxine, and that now I am feeling so much better, so my medication is staying the same for the time being.  That’s fine by me!  Then I had to pop along to the other clinic to visit the resident vampire, as my doctor’s had not sent me for the required blood test…also fine by me, because Dr Thompson will receive the results direct.

Anyway, I’m still the mad sewing woman…so, back to my stitching…the needle is cooling down…!!!

Yo Sandi! Good afters! Yes, I do believe in Angels, both spiritual & earthly ones. I have often "known"that something was going 2 happen & 2 whom, I have never been able 2 explain it, I just accept it…don\’t worry it doesn\’t happen all the time, just once in a while!  Oooh once I start reading a book, I can\’t put it down until it\’s finished! I have always done this & used 2 drive my Mum mad when she wanted me 2 do some chores & I had my nose stuck firmly in a book! Good news about the Docs! Enjoy doing ur stirching! Luv PF XXX

Hiya Sandi, This concept of Angels is fascinating having been depicted from biblical times and before. One thing I do believe in is the existence of the soul and the possibility of re incarnation. As for Gaurdian Angels some would reason that it\’s voice is our own inner Psyche combined by intuition. Thanks for posting this blog as it opens a valid forum for those who wish to discuss other peoples viewpoints and perhaps gain own personal growth. Bye for now and hope your health stays on an even Keel. xx.

Its amazing what you find in these little book shops. You should get yourself off to Hay on Wye..nearly every shop is a book shop. In my little town I always have a mooch in the book shop. My two finest purchases were "Birds of the West Indies " by James Bond
and complete set / first edtion  "The  Hand Book of British Birds " by Witherby,Jourdain,Ticehurst and Tucker. This goes to five volumes and printed in 1938. I hope that you complete your outfit on time…I\’m going to one as a …Werewolf…lol.
