A Blog About Nothing In Particular

August 1, 2009

To blog or not to blog…that is the question!

It’s been a week since I wrote the last blog, and although I have seemingly had much to say on mine and other people’s spaces, I have been totally stuck for a subject on which to write, this week!

Normally, I would have written about three blogs by now…but I haven’t been anywhere or done anything. I just feel brain-dead….devoid of inspiration. Even though I have made notes on some things that I could blog about, like photography, costume progress (or lack of!), moths, the weather (yawn), trolls and ‘bad vibes’ (negative energy), cleansing crystals, or the differences between men’s and women’s brains, among others, I can’t think of a single thing to write about…!!

So I’m not going to bother…!! Here are some pictures to look at instead….

Love It!I know what you mean! I was going to write a blog Thursday because I was just so frustrated with the way the day had gone….one problem after another….Then I just couldn\’t get started! So today, I made 2….does that count???

Probably..why not?!Sometimes, we have much to say about things that are frustrating us, or making us angry, but writing a blog about them just doesn\’t come naturally…but comments do. So I\’ve been spilling over with comments, this week, instead of blogs.I guess I\’m not feeling very creative at the moment… :-I

So the voices are leaving you alone this week- that\’s probably a good thing. Take advantage of it and do stuff when they\’d normally scream at you. be well. Love Simon

But Simon…my voices are calm voices…they have been drowned out this week by the constant thoughts that are flowing through my head! Which is probably why I haven\’t been able to concentrate on anything in particular…too much thinking and not enough \’listening\’. Meditation helps, so I might have a quiet session a bit later to calm the thoughts…!

I was on my way to my Mums to see some cousins just flown in from Austrailia who I have not seen for 38 years……..will be their last ever visit here cos they are getting too old to do it again. Had to turn back and head for home cos Kath was with the paramedics and they took her into hospital. Found nothing at all wrong, I took her home via the supermarket cafe for dinner and bumped into someones friend, but I will let that someone tell you all about that, if she decides to blog about suchlike!

I don\’t like fishing…I get bored easily, and get the fidgets…!!I spent yesterday cleaning the bedroom…I have to keep stopping because I still get tired very quickly! Otherwise, I was sewing, reading, watching a couple more episodes of CSI: NY, outside chatting with Glynis and her family, and one or two other equally interesting (not) things. Yes, weekends are pretty flat when I don\’t have anywhere to go…and it\’s peeing down with rain…great thunderstorm we had on Saturday!!

Time for my annual trim too! Last year I dyed it a shocking, brilliant bright RED and I loved it, but others said it was a bit too vibrant!

  30. Eileen permalink
    August 4, 2009 9:16 am

Hmm I have had it red before, and purple and blue and well all sorts of colours, I\’m thinking maybe just get a few streaks in so I can go grey gracefully perhaps and maybe get it cut to shoulder length? It\’s really getting too long an even in a high pony tail it\’s past my shoulders which means it\’s going scraggy on the ends.. maybe get a good 10 inches off?

I love my hair to be red/auburn, but get fed up with people saying I am only covering the grey, I was not! Just to prove a point I grew out the colour and back to the boring mousy brown, I colour it because I like too. However, now I do have a couple of silvery strands so I have a dilema. It does not bother me if I go gray, I prefer reds.

Lol.. invisible hair.. hmm I think some women can pull it off – I\’m not too sure it would suit me though Mike!Anne you\’re lucky I went visibly grey before 19 (I have the adams family streak) so have always dyed it.

My hair used to be brown with gingery tones (especially in summer), so I\’d always stuck with auburn and copper shades when buying a tint. The grey first started showing in my twenties as a \’Mallen\’ streak, and now my hair has natural \’streaks\’ all over, so when my tint fades, my hair looks more streaky. It\’s wierd how my grey has come through…not even salt and pepper, but in streaks and patches…so now I have a natural brown patch just off centre at the front with the pure white to the right. The back is more my natural colour with odd grey bits…strange…and patchy!Mike…love your invisible hair…suits you! 😉 I\’ve said it before, haven\’t I, that bald dudes are sexy…actually, I love a shaved head…I want to run my hands over it and fe-e-e-el…oh!…er…sorry…ahem!!

We wear them cus thats all we can get !!!!!!!If u buy them for a comfy arse fit they wont go round the waist and have legs like drain pipes .Modern tailoring is CRAP. In the 70\’s i was complemented on my arse and often touched up (by the girls silly ).Now i could weep when i look in the mirror at the way mens cloths are cut .Fkin scruffy and yobbish .And the way the youth walk like they had their legs broken round a tree trunk .ggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr …..rant over good morning .

Good mornin\’…er…aftenoon to ye\’s.Robert has moaned about the fit of jeans, so I suggested the Lee Coopers…or was it Wranglers…because they seemed to have the better bum-fit…jeans fittitting round the bum…not…! You know what I mean!!!The most hilarious and ridiculous guys are those who seem to think they are so-o-o-o cool because they wear their jeans hanging off their meagre arses…and they have to walk with knees out wide to keep \’em up…the jeans, not their knees…! I just burst out laughing…or walking behind them with my friend say in a stage whisper…"Eeew, what\’s that?" and friend will ask where, so I\’ll say "There…on his…looks like skiddies…Eeeew!!!" If the guy looks round, we quickly look away…then burst out laughing…exit stage left…!!!

Perfect fit all round, looked good…so I bought \’em! Satisfied customer! Then I put on the weight, and they just sit there in the bedroom taunting me…grrr!
