An old b&w French TV series called The Flashing Blade…? I used to be able to remember all the characters in that…main chappie and his faithful servant Gillot…and m\’lady…and her servant and the baddies…I still remember the theme song….!! T\’was one of my fave shows way back in the mists of time…along with Robinson Crusoe (another b&w French series) "Poor, poor Robinson…!!"
